1. General Conditions

Hallo Trekker specializes in providing professional Mount Rinjani trekking tours, transportation services, and adventure travel experiences in Lombok, Indonesia. Our trekking programs range from 2 Days 1 Night (2D1N) to 4 Days 3 Nights (4D3N), designed for travelers seeking unforgettable experiences on Mount Rinjani.

Unless otherwise stated, trekking packages include hotel accommodation before the trek, licensed trekking guides, experienced porters, meals during the trek, Mount Rinjani National Park entrance fees, camping equipment, and transportation before and after the trekking program.

By making a reservation, guests confirm that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in trekking activities and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Booking and Payment

A deposit of 35% of the total booking value is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid before the trekking program begins or upon arrival at the Hallo Trekker office.

After completing your payment, please send proof of transfer to our team for booking verification and confirmation.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. The following cancellation policy applies to all confirmed bookings:

• More than 14 days before departure: Full refund minus transaction and processing fees.
• 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund of the total payment.
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

Refunds are not available for late arrivals, missed departures, no-shows, or guests who voluntarily leave the trekking program before completion.

If Hallo Trekker cancels a tour due to extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, or operational issues, guests may choose one of the following options:

• Full refund of all payments made.
• Rescheduling to an alternative available date.

4. Health and Fitness Requirements

Mount Rinjani trekking is a physically demanding activity that requires good health and endurance. Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.

Any medical condition, allergy, injury, or physical limitation must be disclosed before booking. Hallo Trekker reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest’s condition could compromise their safety or the safety of the group.

Hallo Trekker shall not be held responsible for injuries, illnesses, or complications resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.

5. Risks and Liability

By joining a Mount Rinjani trekking tour, guests acknowledge that outdoor adventure activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Altitude sickness
• Slippery or uneven terrain
• Weather changes
• Landslides or falling rocks
• Accidental injuries
• Transportation delays

Participation is entirely at the guest’s own risk. Hallo Trekker will take all reasonable measures to provide a safe trekking experience but cannot guarantee complete elimination of risks.

Hallo Trekker shall not be liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
• Flight delays, missed connections, or transportation disruptions.
• Accidents resulting from failure to follow guide instructions.
• Natural disasters, force majeure events, or government restrictions.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trekking and adventure activities.

• Follow all instructions provided by trekking guides and staff.
• Respect local customs, traditions, and cultural sites.

• Maintain respectful behavior toward fellow trekkers.
• Support environmental conservation practices.
• Avoid littering throughout the trekking route.

Hallo Trekker is committed to sustainable and responsible tourism on Mount Rinjani. We encourage all trekkers to help preserve the mountain environment for future generations.

• Reduce the use of single-use plastics whenever possible.
• Do not damage plants, trees, wildlife, or natural formations.
• Carry out all personal waste and dispose of it responsibly.
• Follow Leave No Trace principles during the trek.

8. Itinerary Changes

For safety and operational reasons, Hallo Trekker reserves the right to modify trekking routes, schedules, accommodation arrangements, transportation services, or itineraries at any time.

Changes may occur due to weather conditions, volcanic activity, trail closures, government regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control. Whenever possible, guests will be informed in advance.

9. Transportation Services

Airport transfers, hotel pickups, and transportation services are operated according to scheduled arrangements. Actual pickup and drop-off times may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, road conditions, or operational circumstances.

Guests are responsible for being ready at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled pickup time. Delays caused by guests may affect transportation schedules and additional charges may apply.
