Hallo Trekker Commitment
At Hallo Trekker, we believe every step on Mount Rinjani should protect the mountain, not harm it. Our Eco Trekking & Sustainable program is designed to keep Rinjani clean, safe, and beautiful for future generations while offering meaningful and responsible adventure.
Leave No Trace Principles
We follow strict Leave No Trace guidelines. Every piece of trash that goes up must come down. Our guides and porters conduct daily clean-ups to ensure no waste remains along the trails, campsites, or crater rim.
Eco-Friendly Camps
Our camping setup uses lightweight equipment and avoids single-use plastics. All cooking tools are reusable, and biodegradable materials are prioritized. We ensure that water sources and all surrounding environments remain clean and unharmed.
Supporting Local Communities
We work closely with local Senaru and Sembalun communities to provide jobs for guides and porters. Our commitment includes fair wages, proper training, and empowering families who rely on eco-tourism to sustain their livelihoods.
Sustainable Trekking Practices
We prioritize responsible water use, ethical guiding, wildlife respect, and trail preservation. Safety and environmental protection are always at the core of our operations.
Tree Planting Effort
As part of our sustainability mission, Hallo Trekker contributes to the reforestation of Mount Rinjani by supporting tree-planting programs. Each season, we help plant native trees to restore damaged areas and protect the mountain’s long-term ecosystem.
Our Goal
To ensure every trek contributes positively to Rinjani’s environment, supports local communities, and inspires hikers to protect nature wherever they go.
