Vision and Mission for Sustainable Trekking

Hallo Trekker Vision

With Hallo Trekker, climbing Rinjani is more than just a hike. It’s the laughs, the quiet moments, the breathtaking views—everything along the way. We take care of you and the mountain too, making sure every trail stays beautiful. You’ll leave nothing behind but footprints and carry stories you’ll tell for years.

Hallo Trekker Mission

  1. Prioritizing Safety and Comfort

Ugh… honestly, we just hate the idea of anyone stressing on the climb. I mean, it happens, right? So what we do is… we just kind of make sure you’re okay. You know, comfy, safe… nothing fancy, just watching out for you while we go up, step by step. Our guides and porters? They know this mountain inside out, they’ve got their official certifications and all that, but more than that—they’re the kind of people who’ll pause to help you catch your breath, hand you a warm tea, or crack a bad joke just to make you smile. With them around, it doesn’t feel like you’re trekking alone—it feels like you’ve got friends who actuallycare.

  2. Zero-Waste Trekking

Everything we carry up, we carry back down. Seriously—there’s no sneaky dumping, no leaving stuff behind And, And anything we can use again—bottles, containers, whatever random gear we’ve got—we kinda just hang on to it and try to use it again later. Sounds like nothing, I know, but honestly… it adds up. You’d be surprised.

  3. Tree-Planting Efforts

So, we do this thing where we plant trees around Mount Rinjani every now and then—with our team, guests, and sometimes local folks too. It’s pretty simple really: Planting trees is pretty straightforward. One person, one tree. It might seem like nothing, but over time it really adds up—the forest slowly comes back, and the soil stays in place. We’re not doing it for attention or anything, it’s just… it feels like the right thing to do, and it’s nice to see it actually make a difference’s just something that feels right.

  4. Supporting Local Communities

We try to help the local community wherever we can. Guides, porters, drivers—they get paid fairly, and we try to give them some training so they can do their jobs well. And then there’s all the little businesses around here—homestays, small hotels, food stalls. We work with them too. It’s nothing big or flashy, just… it feels good to be able to support people who make this place what it is.

  5. Educating Trekkers

We kind of try to get everyone on the mountain to really get it—you know, the park rules, how to behave on the trails, and why it actually matters to take care of nature. And, well… we talk a lot about zero-waste too. Just… don’t leave anything behind. I mean, it sounds obvious, right? But really, when everyone actually does it, it adds up way more than you’d think.

  6. Continuous Improvement

We keep improving our services through ongoing training, better equipment, and maintaining high service standards to ensure every trek becomes a better experience than the last.
